A Review of Multimedia Usage in Embryology Education

چکیده

Embryology, which is a part of anatomy curriculum, well known to be most difficult teach. Applied embryology important in medical practice especially obstetrics and gynecology. To support teaching embryology, few multimedia methods have been introduced for the past twenty years, such as animations, two-dimensional illustrations, three-dimensional movies, video. Innovative learning technology, particularly syllabus, dramatically boosts students’ understanding interest while also indirectly simplifies anatomists’ job. Students are excited able visualize embryo changes at any gestational age from fertilization fetus development. Students’ motivation increased, their comprehension memorization improved. In this review, we elaborate on details used an alternative traditional lectures tutorials. The variety approaches aids reducing boredom maintaining high levels concentration. As result, usage useful long-term memorization.
